How can I make a 3rd input for python optional, struggling and can't find answer?

GuitarThePun tries this code. here 3rd input is optional if the user does not give the 3rd input then z will use it's the default value which is 0.you can change the z value according to your need if you want just to replace the value of z. https://code.sololearn.com/c9RjGMZiOMML/?ref=app
