Coding

I'm not exactly new to coding but I have only completed the HTML5 lesson. Being confused on how many languages they're is it necessary to learn them all? I really would like to build applications and social networking platforms. Where do I start?

There is a large amount of programming languages, but don't feel the need to learn them all(it's better to be a expert in one field then a jack-of-trades). Since you said you want to build applications and social networking platforms, I would say you're going in the right direction. Complete the HTML and CSS course here and really practice to hone your web design skills. As for backend, learn Javascript(frameworks like React are also recommended, as they might make application development easier). PHP may come in handy as well. Also, try searching this question up. It's been asked many times, so maybe you'll find more useful answers in those threads.
