What does the letter "C" mean??

Why are these programming languages ​​called C?? I don't know if I explained it well.

The beginning of C is BCPL(basic combined programming language) created by Martin Richards after that Ken Thompson with Dennis Retchie developed it and created B language and also started developing a operating system named UnIx but B language has not good memory management and portability.... that's why C language was developed....and UnIx operating system also got many new features.....⚡⚡⚡

There are languages like A,B too .. C is the next version of it ..while C++ is advanced and mostly similar to that of C .

As we know C is a most powerful language in computer field,which was developed by DENIS RITCHE in the year 1972 and it was developed after previous existing language 'B'.B was also famous before C so letter 'C' in C language is just stand for represent a successor of 'B'. Now another name is also for 'c' is ANSI C which is due to adding some new features in C by ANSI group
