Those who learn Python, can you tell is it better than java or not?

If you are newbie to programming field than i suggest you to go with python. Because it's considered as to be easy for learning and many university's are teaching python first as regularity.And python is so much popular and used almost everywhere.After learning python you can moveone to next one.If you learn any another languages like c++,java or c# it could take lot of time just for understand the fundamentals of programming.That's why you can go with python.
