Where to begin?!?

I am sure this may have been asked before but I feel so lost about where to begin with this.

I am trying to learn java and feel like I am learning something but I just don’t know how to begin with writing code.

Could someone point me in the direction of a simple program and the steps used to create it and why.

Sorry if this is inappropriate but I am just so lost.

Have you looked at Code Coach here? The new feature?

That's a bunch of very simple tasks that will get you going.

Also there are the 'coding challenges' from which you can choose freely.

Basically, it's all about actually writing code. So the only trouble really is to 'pick your fight' properly (start easy and work up).

Don't worry man, every beginner feels the same. Stop getting panic. I felt the same when I was a beginner to the programming. Try to watch any YouTube beginner tutorials on Java programming. They may be helpful as they are interactive

Try finishing the Java course. Then use the material to make simple codes.

Having a Java IDE would help as well.
