In my opinion, at the moment for you, try web development.

Once deployed on a hosting server, you have a far wider reach or target audience.

App development puts you into a niche box where you may need phone emulators to test for market phones and OSes. You then have to package your app for deployment in different stores.

The world of operating system versions, changes at a quick pace for phone devices and tablets and you have to keep up with this to make sure your app is functional.

But web development is more useful to reach browsers and your site can still load on browsers on phones and devices.

So, embrace web learning and then see if you'd like to try app development.
