Before searching on Google I was also thinking that answer is India but that's not a correct answer.

Antarctica, which is a continent but not a country probably has the least number of programmers but we can probably give the Vatican a run for their money.

India 🆚 China I've over 1️⃣5️⃣0️⃣ followers/programmers from India & only 3️⃣ from China. It only means that SoloLearn is more popular in India then in China‼️ Maybe SL is there forbidden⁉️ https://code.sololearn.com/cZQ6zAM2Whx6/?ref=app The problem is not in programmers quantity but in theirs quality ‼️☺️

According to our data, China and Russia score as the most talented developers. Chinese developers outscore all other countries in mathematics, functional programming, and data structures challenges, while Russians dominate in algorithms, the most popular and most competitive arena. This is ✔ Answer!

You can say India because I think here population is more and everyone wants to go in programming. But don't ask these types of questions here because it's not useful for you.

Many assume India because they speak English there and are quite present in tech support. But make sens to have higher number in China due to the level of education, penetration of the high tech equipment and size of the population. China is able to create and produce high end cellphone, india is not. Never forget you see the part of internet you are looking for, namely in language you can read. Looking for tech video on google, I often have results coming from India, because the text describing the video are in English. The equivalent video in Chinese or Russian will not appear because I would have to use Chinese or Russian in my query. I spoke with an expat living in Thailand for more than a decade, he was dead certain that EVERY website in Thailand was translated in English. Why? Because when he was looking for something on google, he was tipping in English, so the only results coming out where the one with an English version.
