Am I to type return 0;?

Question

From the explanation, i could understand that return 0; is for terminating the main() function. If i am to type return 0 does it actually mean the program is successful and what if i type return of any other number will it not be the same result? because all other numbers as written in the lesson shows that the program execution has failed.
