Are people exited about HTTP/3?

I noticed Cloudflare and Google are giving official support to HTTP/3 now but I wondered: are people actually excited about it? Do you think there will be genuine benefits for the stuff you code?

Isn’t it ironic, that people talk about the benefits of HTTP/3, considering that not even HTTP/2 is well-established, even though it is superior to HTTP/1.1 ? HTTP/2 is only used by 41% of all websites. (https://w3techs.com/technologies/details/ce-http2/all/all)

I did notice that because of forced https, http/2 can be slower in terms of time to first byte on a low powered server; wondering if http/3 will help with that...

Peter David Carter I personally don't see where it it going to be better but we will have to see as it comes in the support or lack thereof https://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-ietf-quic-http-23
