I want to major into software design and programming, and i need to study as many languages as possible, where should i start?

What about starting with database oriented programming? Because, i think softwares are mainly all about data handling...What can you suggest Shaun Frogson?

My personal preference is start with C as it's not object orientated so have to do things manually and that gives you a better understanding for when you start an object orientated language that does a lot more for you

You'd be better off starting the data handling on a smaller scale before connecting to a database

Probably just do some beginner online courses or tutorials
