Can you add php code and sql databases to webpages?

As a website builder I wanted to know if you add php code and sql databases to webpages, thanks.

The PHP code can *call* a database but you wouldn't add the database to a web page, you create the database on a server.

From databases in server you can get values, and then put it on webpages whith javascript. Php code you can add to webpage too
