Clarity on the question of the practical applications of programming language

I am a newbee and I have seen a lot of examples of programs most people have written.
Am yet to understand the practical applications of programming languages as I have seen that most of it use can be done other wise e.g,
One can develop website without programming language,All you need Is software one can use to design the site.
One can also creates logos with software like Corel draw.
If I want to type “hello world” and print it, I can do that With ms word.
Pls someone should tell me the real or practical use use and real life applications of programming language
