Here is the link you should use:
<a href="whatsapp://send?text=The text to share!" data-action="share/whatsapp/share">Share via Whatsapp</a>

You can put a button inside <a> tags instead of text and if you wanna share your page, you should use your page's url instead of "The text to share!"
