Which CMS you recommend for bigger sites?

Hello, I work in a company where we using Typo3 and for smaller Webs WordPress. Since we used Typo for a long long time, we now asked "Why Typo and no other CMS". So I started to research about different CMS, whcih have support and maybe a good community. A view side notes: - we make pages with formulars (typo: formhandler) - in future we need mor shops (like aimeos) - we need different layouts - it should be "easily" extendible => custom plugins - permission management (e.g content manager shouldnt have access to all areas) - API connections (eg. REST) I know there are thousands of CMS, but only 3-4 bigger ones. Also Typo is more a middle europe thing (btw im Austrian - no not the country with the kangaroos :P ) But I thought maybe you have experiences or know some cool alternatives to Typo. Thanks a lot!

Drupal is worth investigating. All though as in every Framework there are those why moments with no clear answere.
