Which language should I start with?

I know a few things about C, C++, HTML, but I can't decide what I want to pursue really. I'm interested in app development as well as web development so choosing one to begin with is really tough. Can someone please help and tell me what should I do?

Maybe Java. Java can use to build desktop apps, mobile apps and back end for web development.
