Well. It depends on you. If you ask this question to a Javascript lover it will chose MEAN. If you ask to a Java lover it will chose J2EE.
J2EE it's more for enterprise applications.
If you ask me I prefer to use Spring (Java web most popular framework) but MEAN is not bad because it's all Javascript and it's a good language with a big future.
