How can we compare the audience/viewers of personal feed posts against those of the Q and A section?

My understanding is that what you post in your personal feed is visible to one's followers and maybe to one's followers' followers and also to whom these people can repost or share the link to. On the other hand, what you post in the Q and A section is visible to everyone on Sololearn who cares to view the Q and A section. Is my understanding correct about this?

Sonic You have caught a great point here. It's true that new users don't have that many followers, but steps are being taken to ensure that they have a pleasant ride. For one, the For Beginners page is working on it. As for your concern, if they post a simple "Hi" or "I'm new", you can ask them to post it in their feed, but if it's any question, we should firstly answer it and then educate them as to where they should have asked it. Another thing we can start doing is tag mods or the beginners page for help.

Kainatic then is it fair that we ask newer Sololearners with partially programming related questions to post them in their personal feed instead of in Q&A when the questions might only be visible to 10 viewers or so depending on their follower level?

As far as I know, you have got it right. Personal feed posts are for a conservative audience (one's followers and further) whilst Q/A posts are visible to the whole public audience.
