To be more accurate, the .Net framework isn't a programming language, but a system that allows for programs to have easier compatibility among different systems. Visual Basic is one of the languages belonging to the .Net framework, and the most famous language from it, also known as "the .Net language" is C#. VB.Net is another way to call Visual Basic.
