Can't select or copy and paste text in app?

Question

I can only copy text in the code playground and can't select anything in the app. Is that intentional? I want to copy stuff from challenges and quizzes to the code playground, what's the deal?

COPY Paste is not allowed in quizzes and challenges. You can take screenshot.

Seems silly, just want to check my answers and play with the code.
