Why are Java and C# so unpolular on Sololearn ? Even if they are part of the most used programming languages.

It seams that web languages (html, css and Javascript) are the most popular here

As Lito Delcid said, writing web codes is way less limited, and other users will likely show more interest. Still, Python is quite popular here, also I see relatively much C and C++ code. I suppose if you're limited to the console anyway, then at least choose a language that makes writing the typically short sololearn codes quick and easy. My guess would be that the enforced OOP style of C# and Java kind of contradicts this; the advantages would probably show more clearly in bigger projects.

Java and C# are both very solid and popular choices. But if by "popular" you mean "getting the most likes" then it's obvious that the web codes are leading there, since they provide more interactivity and, in general, don't even require the person who uses them being familiar with how they work for being able to appreciate the output.
