Better not at first, but when you have learned one or two languages and understand them pretty well, you may have no problem learn some others at the same time.

For beginners, you should focus on learning one language, unless you learn web language, you could focus on HTML, CSS and JavaScript, since they are interacting with each other to form webpages.

If you are learning programming for the first time I recommend learning one well first.

I prefer for a beginner to grasp the concept of one language first, afterwards he/she can simultaneously learn others.

basics of all programming languages is almost same so if you will study anyone programming language then you can easily understand other programming language. I advice to study one if you are a beginner. but if you want than you can study maximum two to three programming languages at same time. Though if you want to learn multiple programming languages at same time to get job faster. Then I would advice to be good or best in atleast one programming language than knowing more than 20 or 40 programming language because that's what companies see if can do anything with one programming language than you don't need another. programming languages that people should know are: 1st> c 2nd> (c++ or java) 3rd> Python 4th> java script if you know basics of all above programming languages than than you can understand any programming language in no time hence all of the modern programming languages are derived from these...

If you want to try it, I recommend one thing: Only learn those topics in a second language that you already understand well in one language. Because if you try to learn something new in several languages at once, you might easily mix everything up since there are differences in syntax and effect. For example: You have understood if and else quite well in Python, but loops confuse you. Don't learn loops in Javascript, but it's probably safe to learn if and else.

Well learning many Programming language at once is like stepping in two different boat in the middle of sea which indicates that you are sure to be taken by the sea as we can't make the balance on two different boats. When we learn many different languages at once we wont be able to understand the concept of any programming language well as you will be confused and every thing will mix up in to your mind. You should start from C and slowly switch to other language like java or python. If you are Pursuing Python Training with Certification along with Java then we know that the syntax of Python and java are totally different and it will be mixed which will results to ZERO . If we want success in life then we need to climb each step of it and if we try to jump some steps for getting early success , it may lead to nothing. So try to learn programming language one by one, it takes time but you will be perfect in it rather then learning many at once and knowing nothing. http://www.cetpainfotech.com/technology/python-training http://pythonandmltrainingcourses.com/courses/best-diploma-in-python-course-in-delhi/

for a professional programmer it is an easy thing to learn two languages at once, but for beginners try learning one program at a time.
