Everal Pardo I agree with Mia380 software development or computer science in general doesn't depend by the country or religion or things like that ... So the skill is the key for success in domains ! ( don't worry about skill u will develop by practice and consistent work )

Compared to other careers, software development is less restricted by borders so you could reach success from anywhere..
But I would say certainly to some extent..
The skills certainly are necessary for success and that's in all kind careers..
