New to C#

Hi,
I'm very new to C#, I need to know za best books to start wz and if possible I need to download samples of prohects wz detailed explaination. I'm interested to build web applications

Microsoft Virtual Academy has a lot of good videos that can teach you C# as well as XAML and other languages you would need to create web apps uaing C#.
They also have an online bookstore where you can purchase Microsoft textbooks for affordable prices.
Since Microsoft created C# this would be the best place to start, but there are other good places to learn just do a quick search.
