What is better...? A. Coaching. B. Self Learning

Imagine 2 students in same college want to learn programming. A goes to coaching centre after college and B is learning by his mobile phone right now .... What you guys think is it really important to join coaching for college students or they can learn by themselves with help of books etc......? . . . ( Note : Please answer like you are guiding your younger brother/ sister)

(Note : I'm too younger than you, so I'll guide you as though you are my elder sister ) I myself am a 10th class student. I started programming when I was in 7th class. I started with C language and I learnt that at a offline computer centre. That was my first and last class which I took for programming. From then on, I learnt everything online, free of cost. Right now, I know C, C++, Java, JavaScript, Python, Kotlin, HTML, CSS, XML, Bootstrap, jQuery, Android Development and a little bit of Machine Learning too. So here are thoughts on your question: I think that you will have some difficulty only with your first programming language, once you have done with that, every other language will become too easy to learn. So, I think that you should learn languages online rather than going to coaching. I have a feeling that the people who went to coaching, don't put too much on themselves, I mean as soon as they got stuck anywhere they start seeking help, without giving the problem even a single go. .......

........ According to me this is their biggest mistake, in learning programming. When I was learning many languages, there were many problems which I solved myself, even by giving 1 months or so. Which now have made me a very efficient programmer. But when learning through someone else, we have to take his order, he will say that get this problem solved in 3 day, then if you succeed then ok, but if you remain unsuccessful to solve, he will tell you the solution. So where's the point? You didn't solve that youself! TL;DR: According to me, self teaching should be given priority over coaching or anything.

No matter you go to college or you learn from this app, you can learn the basic only. You need more practice to master the skills. How this app can help you grow : https://www.sololearn.com/Discuss/1589935/?ref=app

well i would say, if you like coding and are quite interested then you might not need a coach. but sometimes it can be helpful if there is someone you can ask about the conzepts or such. I my self didn't have a teacher and tried out different ways and watched a lot of 'Coding Train' (really great youtube chanel) and I think coding is awsome and that I can code most of the stuff I want to code.
