I need a python ide

I can't figure out how to set atom text editor up to work as a python idea. Please either recommend another editor or tell me how to make atom run python programs

PyCharm and Anaconda are the most popular python IDEs, Anaconda is more suitable for data science. You can use some good text editors as well like: Sublime Text and Brackets

How about you check IDLE from Python.org itself? Or you can always use VScode

I use Pydriod3 on my Android phone and for your big screens I'd suggest try Spyder (easy setup). or the text editor Notepad++ it's easy setup easy to use.

I guess you need to install hydrogen package to run python codes in atom. Also there is a python package for VSCode. If you want a real IDE then try pycharm, spyder (check in Internet for more)

If you want a powerful ide nothing powerful than pycharm. However if you want a light software that has a lot of customization and a lot of useful package to install, it's vscode and atom code editor, i use vscode for almost anything but if you are more familiar to work with atom i believe that video for you >> https://youtu.be/DjEuROpsvp4 If you want to work with vscode this setup can also help you >> https://youtu.be/72Alzsz8RyI
