Learn Type Script??

Question

Shall I learn type script for angular js environment?? Type Script is getting to be heared much to my ears . My friends are using Type Script , shall I follow them. They say that w3schools have angular js but w3schools is DOM related ,it won't take you for a long run . Plese help me ASAP!.

If you are good with js then go for it https://www.typescriptlang.org/ .. am sure within a while you will become masterful of it
