its mostly all problem solving and that can be worked on lots of ways a Rubiks cube a crossword puzzle a jigsaw. a famous person called Poyla created a famous four step rule to do it and it used all over.

Step 2: Devise a plan (translate).
Step 3: Carry out the plan (solve).
Step 4: Look back (check and interpret).

lots of resources around. many sources can help improve our skills.

its just a case of the more we read and practise the better we become at doing it.

try read some pages that tackle the issues, they may help or any books they mention should be in a library where it can be gotten to study.
