How <link> tag different from <a> tag ??

How to use both together....? If possible....

<link> is used inside the <head> tag to link other documents (such as stylesheets, scripts etc) to the html document. <a> is user inside the <body> tag and it's used to add to some text/image a link to a specific URL.

A link with <link> is used by the HTML document, for importing things like stylesheets. A *hyper*link with <a> takes the user to another webpage when clicked on.
