C#, C++, or Java?

I'm new to this app and coding in general I messed around with HTML in high school but not much. I am computer savvy and a decently fast typer I'm currently in a certification school getting certs for IT related things like MTA and comptia A+ net+ stuff like that. what program should I start learning if I want a career as a computer security engineer or a programmer?

If you wanna be a programmer, you'll wind up learning lots of languages, so what you start with isn't a big issue. It's up to you entirely, but if you want an easy start, python should be your choice from the ones available here, if you prefer a rough start, that makes everything after much easier, C++, C#, or Java are your best choices. Don't worry too much about which language, you'll learn a lot of them with time, the basics carry through, and even the advanced things are quite similar when they come from the same root (Like C++, C#, and Java). Another thing, your past with HTML is of no importance in programming (unless you want to learn JavaScript or php), as HTML is only a markup language although it might help with understanding other markup languages, such as XML.

c# isn't only for Windows. You can use the programs for Linux etc, too.

C++ is hard to learn. Java is best i think to learn. And C# is same like Java but for windows. i choosing Java from this three languages.
