In India, CPP is included in one of the most famous CBSE board. So yes, I did started with CPP as well. ICSE used to taught java at my time and don't know about other but ya, it's a myth here than in order to learn more complicated languages you must start with C. 😑(kya logic hai).
According to them the hierarchy is like as follows: C->Cpp->Java after that any language you love. Its similar to the logic that students here becomes Engineer 1st then decide their future. 😂 HappyCoding.
