CSS custom font with local font file

Question

Is it possible to make custom css @font-face with a local .ttf file on android?
I experimented with both embedded and external css files but no luck.
Works perfectly fine if the .ttf file is from a non local url.

Thank you but I'm trying to make custom css fonts to be displayed on android browser not some xml stuff for native android app
