Where to go from here to become a freelance developer?!

I have been learning python for a year. Now I have covered all the basics and advanced topics, practiced GUI using tkinter, wxpython and kivy. You can say I am pretty comfortable with python so far. But now where to go?! What else do I need to learn in order to make a career for myself and why?

brother If you know python very well then you can go for freelancing.but remember that for freelancing only basics of python is not enough.you need to become a expert in one particular framework.like if you want to become data Scientists then you have a great knowledge of scikit learn, numpy or if you doing GUI then tkinter, kivy etc or if you are going game development then pygame.because the projects on freelancing website according to your need can be done only if you have great knowledge of your framework.i suggest you learn multiple languages for freelancing which helps you lot.

Osamah Mohammed Al-Haddad if you really want to learn data science then absolutely math skills is required.but if you don't love math then you can only learn about statistics math.which is mainly required and it is simple .some derivative and integration is need.just try it.

Well, that's the point! I actually hate math, finance and statistics! But there is more to python than web development and data science. And I want to explore these fields!

I am a bit apprehensive about data science since I guess it involves math which I am terrible at lol. Though web development comes easy to me. I intend to skip learning PHP and specialize in Flask and Django and JavaScript instead.

Thanks a lot for your answer Maninder $ingh, I really appreciate it. But when it comes to it, I have a lot of experience in GUI development. I can easily make professional desktop apps using tkinter and wxpython. I am pretty good at that. I am looking to expand my knowledge and have many options to get a freelance career. My goal is to be able to an expert in many fields so I can land a job or a contract easily. That's why I am thinking of turning toward the fields that I haven't learned yet like web development or data science. I am just wondering which to choose. I already have learned HTML and CSS and know a bit about JavaScript. Also I have made a small demo blog using Flask as its backend. But I sometimes question whether web development is the next step, if yoi know what I mean.

I think working in multiple fields is very hard.i suggest you choose any one or two then work for that and become expert in those fields.but if you have a small knowledge of every field then it is also very good thing which help you get job very easily.i think now you want to go in web development then you can choose python for it.django and flask has great frameworks for web development in python.but if you want also data science then python has scikit learn, numpy etc frameworks for data science. Check sentdex channel on you tube cover all of things which i mentioned.
