Did you mean getting the source code. You can just press Ctrl+U in chrome or firefox(i think it is the same for other browers) or Ctrl+Shift+I. But make sure you are not going to violate copyrights.

In addition to that all you can copy is the client side scripts, styles and markup, you cannot copy the server side, business logic or database coding. All these are strictly server side / backend and client side don't have access to it...

You see as a developer you can code the server side when you see the client side. There are tools that can make you (legally) know what server side technology they are using. But digging deeper to have access to their server side script would be black or gray hat hacking it would mean logging into the web server (illegally) without the right authorization which infringes against polite use of the web and its a punishable offence by law if caught. For me I don't see why I need access to a site's server side logic/script, are we not all developers, I had rather write mine. I hope this helps...
