What do you think about web develoment plataforms like wix?

I've heard several opinions about those plataforms such as, it makes programming looks easy, understimates the programmers work, on the other hand, it works as advertising for professional programmers, etc..... what do you think ?

Wix in my opinion is mostly for non-programmers or for sites not requiring extremely complex activities. I won't advise the infant programmer to go the way of wix. Except if he wants to write his own wix engine. It looks easy, true, but the sorry truth of it and downside is that it is like black magic done well to make things appear excellent in the main stream but in reality you learn nothing technical. Wix I think is meant for users not programmers. Real programmers love to get their hands dirty which streamlines learning, but Wix naah, It isnt a sweet therapy. Get into serious code from basic to advanced and everything in between. Begin from scratch and your dream job might just be by the corner. I could be wrong but I haven't seen vacancy for Wix developers, it isn't in the book. I hope this helps. Regards...
