How to choose a language for the United States?

I am from Russia and I know PHP programming language. I recently learned Ruby. But now I completely decided that I want to program in Python? Is this the right choice? Or maybe you should choose Java? My goal is to get a job at Amazon or Google.

I think you should focus on one language if you want to get a job at Amazon and Google. They'll hire you as long as you've mastered one language .
