Conway, Game of life on python ? Help please, i'm struggling

10 lines and 15 columns, with 'n' cells placed randomly, if 2 cells are next to each other 1 new cell is born and if 4 cells are next to each other 1 of them dies. ("it's my homework, i've been stuck on it for a week, please help, I have 2days left)
