"To become a good software craftsman a learner should read a lot and do practice" this is what written on Clean Code. I am also not a good at computer science but I started reading books related to CS basics. First it may seem that you don't know if your reading will help you on evolving to a craftsman. But on the way you start to learn what books to read and what to not. Anyways to become one you need to read a lot. Btw do not forget to test what you read.

Try using some good resources. Programming is something you learn from practicing. So just don't read books and learn things. You need to code alot. Learn different algorithms too. Try mini projects. There are a lot of websites that offer you tons of challenges.Go complete them. See others solutions. Good luck👍

No worries. Your programming skill may not be good YET but you can always improve. There will always be a room for improvement no matter what. So for now I recommend you find your niche and make a consistent effort to excel in that niche. Computer Science is too vague a term and it has many aspects. First, discover the aspect of CS that excites you. You can always learn whatever is being offered in your academic institution but remember to clarify your basic concepts. Most of the time you will have to use the same concepts in different ways for different programming languages but the underlying fundamentals remain the same. And yes, BE FLEXIBLE about choosing your niche.

If you want to success. You will need to learn more, Write code, see others code but don't copy, if you don't understand any code comment on the code, practice a lot. Try it yourself.

Do not copy and paste develope your skill by developing your own algorithm and practice. Try to understand the logic behind the code once you master it then you can feel coding is not difficult task.

Your question is too blur. Computer scientist means everything and nothing at the same times. You have to be more specific to receive an appropriate help. What kind of job do you expect after study ? What are you learning ? For what purpose ? working for web ? applications ? network stuff ?...

If you want to improve your programming skills, I think you should write a lot of code. How about trying to reproduce various algorithms?
