What is the differences of getting higher badges (bronze, silver, gold, platinum)?

What do we get after that increased? Is there any additional things get? I didnt see any difference after reaching the bronze :(

I think for a beginner the difference there is the knowledge that you learned in every languages. The more you learn other languages the more awards you gained. It's like a game that you passed in every level and it keeps you put in a higher rank.
