Why are a disproportionately high number of numerical answers to new C challenge questions equal to 42?

Does that have anything to do with 42 being the answer to everything according to the hitchhiker's guide to the universe and the quiz author probably being a fan?

I think 42 is connected to hitchhiker's guide but I don't know if the author is really a fan of this guide. As stated by Matthias 42 is commonly used.

On that note: Who else will type "sololearn" in a riddle without thinking as soon as these letters come up?
