Why that many Progrqmming Languages ?

Question

I finished almost all programming courses in SoloLearn and all of them share the fundamentals like stings, boolean, array, if else condition , for while and do loops functions. my question is why that many exist ?

We have language c and they added new one c++ with OOP. Another example we have java lang and google anounced new one Kotlin, with some cool features. So every new one makes coding a bit simpler and easier.
