Getting user input of lines of characters

How can I get users to input 0 1 2 randomly on the screen. Also output every character 2 followed by character 1. Output required is eg 212121. Count of pairs in this eg is 3

What do you mean? Please specify more, I don't think anyone could have ever understand what "input 0 1 2 randomly on the screen" mean, nor would they understand the rest of the question.
