Java vs C++ compile speeds

C++ is faster in runtime than Java ,cause C++ runs the machine code whereas Java needs to turn bytecode into machine code and then run it. What about compile time thu? Is compiling to bytecode faster than compiling to machine code?

Use time library to see the time that it takes to print a number 1 to 10000 in C++ and java and you will see a lot of difference

C++ has wery powerful template feature. Templates can cause hard and long computations in the compile time.
