I think Rebeka does not refer to actual beginners questions. Of course this sort of questions is welcomed here and more advanced beginners and pros are more than happy to help. But sometimes one notices, that some poeple seem to not even try to think before posting a question, which is the annoying part... Mostly one can identify those type of question by the way the "question" is phrased or how s/he reacts to answers.

Rebeka It's good you know that not everyone has that "google-surfing" skill. if everyone simply Googled stuff out, there would be no need for this Q&A section. Sololearn made this section so that learners could learn to code and get help all in one place. Besides, what you consider "so simple" now, is probably what you banged your head for while you were starting out

Well, their are some people who ask such questions purposely either to get up vote or just to kill time!! Some want to show off while other are lazy enough to search. Though most of the Sololearn programmers are such which ask really purposeful questions and when they unable to find their answer(or for better answer) then only they seek help. But whatever "Sololearn is a place for exchange of knowledge and experience" and so one must respect the fact . "The more we ask the better we Know" Have a nice day!!😊😊

While I agree that being able to find information you're looking for online and knowing how to find stuff is an important skill to have I also think finding answers can be challenging for beginners, especially when they don't even know what somethings called in order to find the correct subject. On top of that most of the top results will be documentation for developers and hard to comprehend, sometimes people just want a basic answer that they can understand more clearly written by someone who knows the mindset of fellow people learning code.

a question that seem ridiculous/easy to you isn't to someone else...and like you've never asked a question that seem ridiculous/irritating to someone else before. and what's the difference between asking how to print a hello world statement on Google and asking on here

I agree with you, people ask such easy questions that they can even find them on a Google. If any one know how to use Google, how to do searching, using keywords for their search their life would be so easy.

I really hope that we don't enable SoloLearners for so long that we become their crutch by the time they land a job in the field (at the expense of platform performance for all users). I think the first few are fine, (I don't mind fetching some easy-to-find answers for kids who are respectful and self-aware,) and sometimes we have kids on here who are learning under some extreme parental controls that don't allow them regular access to search engines. It can be part of the whole raising-a-community (of developers) thing to encourage youngsters to have the "I'm serious about programming, so if you want me to succeed, (parents,) then you will let me use a search engine. Here are a bunch of post on my learning app that say search engines are a standard learning tool and resource for professionals."

It's much easier and faster to create an email and sololearn account and post a question than to google it. ...and it is much easier to post a question than trying to use sololearn searchbar ...

I think you're right but in some cases programmers need answer from professionals not getting some basic knowledge by googling his question
