JavaScript code is visible in developers console, no need to hack, as for heavy languages .... have you ever heard about reverse-engineering/decompiling?

It is easy to hack Java programs source code with JDGUI. But! Smart developers can obfuscate their code with ProGuard like me. (no, i'm not smart)
