Does Javascript have anything to do with c++ ,because the syntax is quite similar?

I don't think so because c++ is a programming language while JavaScript is a scripting language for web based application.
The amazing thing about c++ is that it's syntax is similar to many programming language like c,JavaScript,php,c# and many more. In short, learning c++ means learning every language.

JS isn't just a scripting language anymore (Python is). JS is a full development language built in C++.
