I have used it on MAC OS and Linux (Mint). The most popular comercial IDLE RubyMine can be downloaded for Windows, Mac OS and Linux.

It's made from Linux but, it should be able to run on any OS. If not, look for a Ruby compiler for what OS you have them it should run fine

Ruby can be used in windows and many other systems, I use it at Windows Seven
