Plz recommend me a book to learn PHP ( from scratch) with lots of practical tasks.

You can do the PHP course from SoloLearn because it will give you an idea of what php is.
After finishing the course i advise you to start reading the book.
And also do loads of PHP quizzes on SoloLearn because you will learn a lot from them
