Why the sql is called structured language?

Becz all the data in SQL comes like Row and Column.

For Example : you are created A table and you want insert data in it. Your data was inserted in row wise like if you put your first data in table so your first data was located in first postion in the table second data in second position and so.

Note : in sql coloum repersant a type of data that you want put in it.

For example : if you create a City name column then you will definitely add a city name.
