Nobody can be really sure. but some of the newd languages may be hey better and start regular uses, making the old ones deprecated. People think that GO is a good language to bet.

well, GO it's developed by GOOGLE, wich, they are crazy good at making stuff and deliver it (not G+ *cough cough*).

python has its place for quick and readable solutions. C has its place for hyper-threaded low level large-scale solutions. Java (unfortunately) isn't going anywhere soon because it's already in so many places SQL has its place in databases if you're trying to find the right language for you to learn, start with python (to get a base understanding) and research the best language for your field of study. even if by the time you get into a dev position the language isn't #1, there's no doubt it will still exist within their source code.
