Which languages are necessary for freelance web development?

Im jnterested in becoming a freelance web developer as a side gig. (Could I make good money?)

I know I need to learn HTML, CSS, & Javascript.

Is there anything else I should familiarize myself with? Any other languages/software ?

a server side language and database would be helpful as well...like php and sql.

the combination would allow you to make most things for websites. after that you could look into app development.

making good money is dependent upon a lot of other factors as well like how you find clients, how good you are at those skills and if you want a fulltime job instead of a side gig. in the LA area its not too hard to make 100k per year with just those skills if you are good enough.
